Inspired by classic movie genres, Steam takes you on a whistle stop tour through silent movies, the Wild West, James Bond, WWI and the dark future of inner city commuting through a breathtaking blend of parkour, dance and theatre.
Steam has been co-commissioned by Pavilion Dance South West, South East Dance and The Civic, Barnsley. Working in partnerships with heritage railways and arts organisations Steam is performing across the country with additional scenes created and performed by locally based young people inspired by the industrial past of their home towns.
